Hi, my name is Luca Spallarossa (aka 'spallared' ;))
I was born the 11 of July 1975 and now I am studying Electronic Engineering at the University of Genoa. I started to write software ona Sinclair ZX81 (Basic), then I switched to a Commodore 128D (Basic and Assembler). Then I had a marvellous Amiga 500 and finally I arrived at the x86 world. My first x86 PC (obviously home made) was a 486DX 66 Mhz, 4 Mb RAM and 250 Mb Hard Drive (no CD-ROM yet!), actually my main PC is an Athlon 2000+, 512 Mb 400 MHz SDRAMM, about 100 Gb hard drive(s) but i have other "electronics" all around home: i.e. how to forget my AMD K6/200 with SuSE Linux 8.2, working 24 hours/day as all-purpose server for many things, my notebook, my Palm Tungsten T and my sat-decoder (Dream-Multimedia Dreambox 7000S based on an IBM Power PC 250 MHz, 10/100 LAN, IDE Interface, USB, Serial... ;))
My main work(s) are about Windows NT and Linux system administration and C/C++ programming but i'm interested in almost everything regarding electronics (cellular GSM phones, Satellite-TV, telecommunications... and so on... Sometime (not as much as i'd like unfortunately...) i find also time for my hobbies: photographs and (long)walks ...
That's all... (for now), have a good time browsing www.spallared.com
Ciao! Luca
